These projects include building canoes and boats, making furniture, as well as metal, wood and composite working. I even take on the occasional sewing project having sewn my own Kilt. When not working with my hands I enjoy designing homes and inventions, camping, adventuring and fitness. One summer I bundled all these passions into a 4000km solo cross Canada bicycle trip. This work includes sewage pumping stations, water towers, reservoirs, water treatment. These projects required the installation of Motor Control centers, backup generators, Automatic transfer Switches, PLC and Scada Systems, and associated lighting, HVAC, and occupancy systems. Outside of industrial work I have installed lighting and power systems for commercial spaces, and done complete home wiring including the automation of cottage heat/ systems. I Started in the construction industry building high end swimming pools where I ran a concrete pump.
